ABSTRACT:
The present study has been conducted to find out the differences in the adjustment problems between ST/ SC and general caste boys and girls of Govt. High School. The results reveal that there is a significant difference in adjustment problems of general and ST/ SC Govt. High School student*. Further, a significant difference has also been found between ST/ SC and general girls in their adjustment problems. Thus, it is concluded that ST/SC boys have made remarkable development in adjustment capacity. But the ST/ SC girls are still facing diverse condition that is hindering their growth significantly. In general, ST/ SC students have significant adjustment problems in comparison to general students. Still more attention and special counseling is required for ST/ SC students, especially the girls.
